Hears2U! MN operates on a fee-for-service basis. That means we ask for payment at the time of the appointment.
At the present time, we do not submit billing to insurance companies. We can fill out a 1500 billing form for you with the billing and diagnosis codes and fees, which you can then submit to your insurance company. Some insurance companies (e.g., Blue Cross of Minnesota) will not allow the client to submit their own insurance. We are providers for several private insurance companies (BCBS, U-Care, Medica). We do not have the capacity to serve clients who have public insurance plans.
In most cases, you can use a healthcare expense account credit card to pay for your services or products. All of our services and products are considered medically necessary, in order for you to preserve your hearing and communicate effectively.
You can pay by credit card, check, or cash. We keep no cash in our office, so we are not able to make change for a cash payment. When paying by check, we wait to place any technology orders until the check has cleared. We do not have the capacity to electronically process checks at this time. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and process them on site using Square.
We also accept CareCredit. If you don’t have an account, we can help you set one up. This is a no- or low-interest way of financing healthcare expenses.
